World Masters Games
20km Walk |

The 20km Road Walk is one
of a handful of out of stadia athletics events held at the
World Masters Games.
A 10000m track walk was
held sporadically at the Olympics until 1924. After that it
became a road race but the distance was changed to 20km and
50km after 1952.
The event is not always
held and when it has been, it appears that prior to 2009 it
was only for men.

given country at time of competition but at the World Masters Games
this often does not indicate a competitor's real country.
Records
are not tracked and the event is not generally eligible for records due to the
general lack of compliance to IAAF/WMA standards. |
