Wellington Masters
High Jump

The high jump was contested in the first modern Olympics in 1896. It was also among the first events deemed acceptable for women, having been held at the 1928 Olympic Games.

In the case of two jumpers finishing at the same height, the normal approach is for the winner to be based on the fewest failed jumps at that height.

Performances by guest athletes from outside Wellington are marked [IE].

Wellington Records as at 7 May 2023.
